Step 3.

Finding your Purpose is most likely the easiest of the three conditions for flight because often, without knowing, we are already living our purpose in some ways. We cannot stray from it too far or Life - or our own hearts (our Emotional Guidance System) - will lead us back to it. Nevertheless, we often lack a clear understanding of it because it is so subtle. And this lack of understanding of our purpose comes from a lack of understanding of who we are as an individual. The better we know who we are, the harder it gets to not live according to our purpose.

Purpose is our soul’s mission. And that mission may update depending on where you are in life, what responsibilities you’ve chosen to take in this life and before it, and how you’ve developed yourself. But ultimately, your soul’s purpose reduces to just being yourself. In that way, you naturally bring the qualities you’re supposed to bring here.

Voids & Values

Your Values arise from your conscious or unconscious Voids,

i.e. that which you perceive as most missing (in yourself/the world).

To be fulfilled (and gain self-worth), you will need to pour your energy into those voids.

For example,

For me, what I feel is most missing is Wisdom.

I believe most problems would be solved if we were a little wiser.

Therefore, my Purpose has to do with cultivating, expressing, and sharing Wisdom.

Aligning with Wisdom will bring me most satisfaction, self-worth and intrinsic motivation. Conversely, not aligning with it will bring me most suffering, self-loathing, and discouragement.

Everyone’s Soul is playing a different game depending on their nature, their mission, where they are, and what is most important to develop for them at that moment.
