Cosmic Ecstasy

A ray of light from the Central Sun

A boon for a story only just begun

A thread to weave, a fabric spun

All in the name of the One

Light drips from your lips,

We’re in Cosmic Ecstasy

My hands on your hips,

In your eyes I glimpse the deepest mystery

My shoulders were sore

From the burden that’s life

But since you’ve entered my Being

I’ve started to transcend this strife.

Days have passed and yet we’re still here

In a divine embrace that annihilates all fear

Years are passing, yet I’m still young somehow

I guess that’s what happens when you abide in the Eternal Now

“I want to ask you something.” - I said to God

Appearing to me now as a perfect lover.

“Why don’t you show yourself?”

“Why do you always stay undercover?”

Teasingly, she said to me:

“Oh, it’s your own perception silly!”

“Have you ever really

Seen anything other than Me?”

Don’t we all like to hide from ourselves in plain sight?

Aren’t we all sometimes blinded by the Light so bright?

We avert our eyes, and prefer to enjoy the Truth in small doses

Lest we not be overwhelmed by divine overdoses.

Yet that sometimes makes us lose the connection

Between us and that holy perfection

To the point we forget its reality

And we denounce it to the dustbins of history.

What we call “reality”

Are but the traces of Cosmic Ecstasy

The true Reality

is Cosmic Ecstasy.
