Magic & Madness
They all think I’ve been acting reckless
But I’ve been lying in the field beyond right and wrong
From its flowers I’ve made you a necklace
And from its view I wrote you this silent song
I’m planning an expedition into madness
And I hope that will show
That there’s something beyond this magnificent sadness
Yes, reckless is nothing to what’s coming though
But that’s their view.
You see,
I don’t worry because I love it all:
The dark, the light, and the way maggots crawl.
There is magic to this madness,
That’s what I want to show.
But most people have isolated themselves
From what they don’t want to know.
They all think Magic has left Life.
But they’ve only arranged themselves so they can’t see
That Magic is right around the corner,
Shaking hands with Destiny.
The limit will always open the structure up.
Nothing is set in stone.
Time will unshackle Being.
Ecstatic moan, by terrible groan.
