Three Days Grace

I found in me the inner Christ

And got crucified straight away

It has been some days here on the cross

And the pain is getting through to me.

Yet somehow I feel peaceful - an inner serenity

- has descended into what I felt was a broken reality.

Softly I gaze over these same desolate lands

that made me doubt who? - I AM. -

But this time with the knowledge, the courage and the strength

that is derived from the higher Power - of Love and Ascent.

It is speech wrought in divine Silence,

more quiet than a whisper

and carrying infinitely the amount of secrets

It is light borrowed from the sun’s rays

yet - infinitely warmer.

It is the caress from the perfect lover

and yet - infinitely more touching.

Let’s take a leap.

We’re already on the cross of duality anyway.

Salvation is only three
