Step 2.

Living Authentically

To FLY, to Fully Love Yourself, it is necessary to do what you Love. Because doing something is investing your life energy into something. And on a deeper level, it is being something. You are your life. And if you spend your life on what you do not love, you do not love yourself. If you give yourself to something that is not aligned with you, then you will know. Something within you will resist it. And this resistance will keep you from Fully Loving Yourself.

By Fully Loving Yourself, we mean the Whole Self; to Love everything that appears in your experience, not just your own individual. Even your pain, your struggles & everyone that you meet, because as you’ll learn on your journey towards 5DYou, they are all You as well.

Authenticity is the practice of staying true to yourself.

Staying true to yourself is not the easiest thing to do in this society. From early on in life, we are taught to obey the other, and that that has something to do with “virtue”, with being “good”.

While learning a certain respect for others is a healthy part of childhood development, obeying them at our own expense is not. This will take us away from our own heart’s compass, which has a direct line to our Soul. Following our Soul’s calling leads to true virtue: the unfoldment of our life purpose. Ignoring our Soul’s calling leads to depression, fatigue, purposelessness, disease, and sometimes - eventually - even death.

Our Souls come here for a particular purpose. If it is not being fulfilled, if there is no progress being made in the development of our Souls, even if it is just as small as finding a little more happiness in your day, then sometimes it’s best to stop investing in this life and start anew for the Soul, that is, to let the physical body die.

So, living authentically may actually be a matter of Life & Death. Not only does it help you stay on track with your mission, it also saves you from a lot of harm that comes from ignoring signs from your Soul and pushing them into the body, manifesting as diseases.

Your Soul is beyond Time & Space and as such, it already knows the outcomes of certain situations. It just takes our awareness, feeling into what our own energy is saying, to get in touch with that.

“Is it a good idea?”

“How do we feel about it?”

“What is this feeling really saying?”

“Is it coming from ego - from lack or fear - like hunger?”

“Or does it have a deeper, more sacred, wonderlike quality?”

Follow the sacred, wonderlike feelings and cultivate them by staying in silence and openness, and be very careful with feelings coming from lack: fear, lust, greed, these feel more barbaric, and they come from the ego, not the soul. You want to purify yourself of these as much as possible. You can still take money for example, but without being greedy, without putting it higher than your other values, like respect and honorability. And you can still have romantic relationships, but in a better way, not merely to satisfy sexual cravings, but to pour true love into another and to learn from them and serve them.

We can know everything,

Provided we are completely honest with ourselves.

But it is this honesty that is difficult because the Truth can hurt. It hurts the ego, the part of ourselves that is attached to a partial perspective in the story. And the Truth must always be Whole. So therefore, the search for the Truth - and even living authentically - will necessarily lead to the dissolution of the ego and the ego will resist this, so it is good to know that living authentically will be a battle between different parts of yourself and a constant sacrifice of all that no longer serves. This is the spiritual journey we are all on. And this is the constant challenge of living a truly authentic life.
